Bestival: The Album - out now!

Spanning three years of musical excellence the double CD Bestival - The Album is released on 28th August.

"Its impossible to capture the atmosphere and human electricity running through Bestival so this CD is as close as we're gonna get - from big name stadium acts to fresh and underground weirdos we've discovered at Bestival this is a trip through the first three years of fun and games we've had." Rob da Bank

Bestival The Album sees headline acts from years gone by as Basement Jaxx and The Magic Numbers give us a timely reminder as to just what makes them so special, whilst this years showstoppers Pet Shop Boys and Scissor Sisters appear giving us a taste of things to come. Current heroes Hot Chip and Mystery Jets provide the look to the future whilst legends such as John Martyn, The Stranglers, The Fall and Lee Scratch Perry make a welcome appearance.

The Album also shows Bestival's more edgy side, as hot acts such as Pendulum and Max Sedgley provide the live element alongside club legends such as X-Press 2 and Mr Scruff who transform their turntable trickery into three minutes of dance floor bliss. Rob da Bank shows us just what's rocking the dancefloors Worldwide with The Cuban Brothers' forthcoming single 'Love Is Alive', alongside featured tracks from Soulwax and Röyksopp.  Plus the exclusive of The Dub Pistols' version of The Stranglers' classic 'Peaches' and an exclusive remix of Kubb by the one and only Rob da Bank with Radioslave at his side.  This is a stunning remix of 'Chemical' which has yet to see the light of day, and this is the only place you'll hear it.

Both albums also include Rob's hot tips of new artists on his radar including the marvellous Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, Guillemots, The Young Knives and Misty's Big Adventure, all playing this year at the official 'Most Innovative' and 'Best Medium Sized' festival (UK Festival Awards 2005).
