Kid's Area & Nursery
[NB: This is still 2006 info. 2007 info will be here soon...] Robin Hill Countryside Adventure Park (the Bestival site) is actually a year round children's paradise equipped with a Tree Top Trail, Maze, Rabbit Run Tunnels, Miniature Village (mind your head on the Duck Inn!), Toboggan Run, slides, swings and much much more. Not to mention the ducks in the lakes, the Bird Sanctuary and the Peacocks that roam freely around! Check www.robin-hill.com for further info. On top of that though, we have a wonderful Kid's Area and The PlayStation Nursery! The kids area this year will have even more fun for the wee ones (and the bigger ones are welcome to join in!). Set in The Village area there will be a tent and outdoors areas for workshops and activities including juggling and circus shows, painting, dream-catcher making, dancing, story telling, games and drumming. There will also be a cat-walk and mini dressing up area with face painting for the performers amongst you! We also have our very own resident Puppet Theatre (The Bognoggin Theatre Co)! The Puppet Theatre will be situated between the kids area and the Bandstand with times of performances to be announced in the Bestival Guide. Fun and stimulating activities including a bouncy castle will be provided by our highly qualified, experienced and professional team of staff from the Isle of Wight College facility. We will be catering for children from 2 and up to 8 years of age during the following times: Saturday 9th September 2006: 9:30am – 5:30pm Children are invited to attend our provision for a maximum of 2 hours where they can enjoy a range of activities. The cost will be £5.00 for the full 2 hours or alternatively £3.00 per hour. The PlayStation are registered by Ofsted and are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. |
