SEAN BIDDER, EDITOR FACT MAGAZINE
'It was, without doubt, the best festival of the summer. And I'm not the only one to think so – a bunch of my mates who came down all thought the same. Some, who'd never heard of it, and only came on my recommendation, were still talking about it last night and will be back next year, with reinforcements.'
FRANK TOPE, DJ
'Just a quick line to say thank you all so much for a fantastic weekend. It was an absolute joy from start to finish both to play at and to party at... although where one started and the other finished I'm not quite sure. Everything about it, the site, the people, the music, obviously the fancy dress and especially all those little personal touches that were so quintessentially Sunday Best combined to put absolutely everyone there in a fantastic mood and bring out their happiest, best, sunniest dispositions. I don't think I've laughed that much for such a prolonged time ever. Thank you all so much for having me to play - the Hidden Disco rocked! - and for making it all such a brilliant weekend. I hope all your hard work was worth it!'
MICHAEL COOK, DJ
'Thought this year surpassed last year in every way, great line up, lovely if somewhat deranged punters, excellent vibe, tighter production, very well looked after by artist liaison and the fancy dress thing was a stroke of genius. Definitely my most fun packed festival of the summer.'
ANGUS BASKERVILLE, AGENT – THE MAGIC NUMBERS
'just want to say how much I enjoyed bestival - I really thought the whole festival was brilliant and all the bands I spoke to had a great time.'
MICK GRIFFITHS, AGENT – THE GO! TEAM

ALDO VANUCCI, DJ
'just a quickie to say that everyone I saw and spoke to had a f**kin rockin time, things like.."so much better than big chill" "just like.... init... you know... nice" - she was a bit mashed "best festy this year" and from the business side I've never worked at any festival so well organised. thanks to everyone concerned.'
JOHNNO BURGESS, BUGGED OUT! CLUB PROMOTER AND ALL ROUND NICE GUY
'Had another amazing Bestival. You can't beat being inspired musically whilst laughing your head off at the same time, something that happened quite often over the weekend but in particular during the Super Furrys and Cuban Brothers. Also enjoyed Saint Etienne, Soulwax, Clor, Erol, Glimmers, playing my old seven inches on Sunday, getting dressed up as a gangster at the Vintage Photographic Studio and then as a (bent) copper for the fancy dress party (I think I freaked a few people out in doing so). Liked the big underpants hanging in the Weird West Big Top too. Were they Rob's? Until next year... Johnno x'

'Rob... got to drop u a line after reading some crap on the forum feedback...
first up i am 37 and have been going to festivals for 21 years. bestival was brilliant and exactly how i would of wanted it to be if it was mine. WELL DONE all of you, the attention to detail is amazing and it was much improved on last year in lots of little ways but i noticed em.
the healing fields / wi / bandstand bit was great, and worked much better, the wild west top was amazing and the production brilliant. the food overall was the best i have seen at a festival, reckon the only thing missing was fruit beers and pear cider (but ill talk to you abou that some other time!)
this is 2005 and even glastonbury with all its experience cant keep out the trouble and you could feel it there alot more, and people know that really. my mum and dad came and had one of the best days together ever and want tickets already for next year. they say u get much more trouble and bad attitude on guildford high street at 7 in the evening than there was there over the weekend.
anyway thanks again , luv to be involved next year, really pleased with how it went for us so cheers. dan, gareth and olly'

'Wow Three Days have passed and still buzzing with pure excitement, really was the Best weekend I've enjoyed in years and possibly ever. Sunday really was the most awesome day somehow managed to spend 6 hours in Bollywood and I have to admit have fallen in Love whilst at Bestival.
I don't think my life will ever be the same again.
Thanks for a totally amazing peaceful and relaxing weekend and more laughs and smiles than I've seen or enjoyed in years.
Can't wait for next year, already in my diary.
I know growth is inevitable and next years will probably be bigger but the intimacy of your Bestival adds to what made this a unique experience for me.
Thanks also to all the beautiful beautiful Bestival goers who shared their smiles and joy with me. Big Love, Callum Johnson'
