As in previous years the Bestival site will open at 10am on Friday morning (7th Sept). There will be no camping allowed on the Thursday night. However, for those of you that do want to travel to the island on thursday we have arranged an alternative campsite for you to stay at... on th pitch at Newport (IW) Football Club!

We have created a new system that will allow us to listen to your music and check out your DJ/VJing skills to see if any of it might bring something extra special to Bestival 2007. This will be the only way we accept demo submissions this year...

Let's face it, we all need a little reminder once in a while. Well at Bestival 2006 there's gonna be lots of quite big reminders! 'Keep Bestival Tidy' is our new motto and we'd love it if you took notice and made a difference! :-)

For Bestival 2006 we are seriously upping the ante with regards to encouraging a responsible and respectful vibe by asking everyone to go green and recycle as much as they possibly can. And local IOW school children are leading the way...

Tent, Sleeping Bag, a Waterproof (the Isle of Wight in September is traditionally a scorcher but better dry than sorry!), warm clothing for night-time, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat (and/or wig!), a torch, fancy dress, money, friends & a great big silly grin on ya chops!
