Bestival are very excited to be teaming up with Amnesty International at this year's festival to support Make Some Noise, its music download project. Amnesty are working with some of the biggest music names in the world to re-record classic John Lennon tracks in an effort  that mixes music, celebration and action to protect individuals wherever freedom, justice and equality are denied. 

Thanks to an extraordinary gift from Yoko Ono – the recording rights to 'Imagine' and John Lennon's entire solo songbook – Amnesty International is harnessing the power of music to inspire a new generation to stand up for human rights. 

Bestival-goers will get a chance to witness one-off performances, get free downloads of Make Some Noise tracks, feature in an exclusive viral film, and even take part in a special Amnesty karoake session in Amnesty's Noise tent. 'Please, please, release me' anyone?
