Rob da Bank's Leftfield Show on BBC Radio 1
BBC Radio 1's leftfield show: from techno and bleep to ambient and acoustic, a 2-hour eclectic mix of music from the UK and beyond!
After four years at the helm of sunrise show The Blue Room with Chris Coco, and 18 months of One Music, da Bank goes it alone with a weekly Sunday night show mashing up leftfield music from across the spectrum.
Rob hosts the show live every Sunday night / Monday morning from midnight-2am, fresh from his heavy DJ schedule at the weekends, playing a unique slot of oddities, experimental, rock n roll, and all spaces from gypsy punk to Myspace mavericks with a good dash of general weirdity.
Rob da Bank's show is also broadcast live on Sirius Satellite in North America, on Channel 11, now at the more convenient time of 7 - 9pm for those on the East coast and 4 - 6pm for those over on the West coast. The show will also be live to worldwide listeners via www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/robdabank
Rob da Bank states: "My Sunday show is a magical end-of-the-weekend knees-up, flicking the middle finger at Mondays and the working week!"
The show is also available to 'listen again' at any time the following week via www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/robdabank
